Worth a half day walk up to Helm Crag. Easy from Grasmere and a good path. Extend the walk by doing the ridge to Calf Crag or even round to Steel Fell which has a lovley way off to Grasmere.

Worth a walk up as you get rewarded with stunning views when you reach the top.. Does not take all day so you have time to have a nice well earned drink in Grasmere
