Seen a few panels before and was thrilled to see the 44 panels on display with information and videos to bring the stories on the panels to life. It was also interesting to see inside the meeting house and talk with the Friends on duty....More

Thank you for taking the time to share your excellent review of your visit. The 40 plus panels, along with the extra displays do take time to enjoy - it is good that we don't show all 77 panels at once. We are setting off...More

This is an exhibition of many picture sized tapestries sewn by various different people. They depict scenes from history and famous Quakers. They are of a very high standard and require time and concentration to fully appreciate. The audio equipment helps to explain the stories...More

If you haven't seen the quaker tapestries this is a must. Set in a historic building close to the river Kent and adjacent to the shopping centre this is an ideal place to spend a couple of hours more if you want lunch.

Great little cafe on site. The salads with hummus and quiche were delicious. Highly recommend. The exhibition was enjoyable and informative. Definitely worth going to even if you do not have an interest in Quakerism.

This embroidery done by hundreds of people should be regarded as worth as much to us as the Bayeux Tapestry. The workmanship is wonderful with only 6 different stitches used. It is well displayed with plentiful explanation on audio handsets. I loved all the animals...More

We needed more people like you to visit more often! Unfortunately the Quaker Tapestry couldn't make the all vegetarian cafe viable - even though the food and the staff were lovely. We have a new owner for the Museum cafe, now called the Courtyard Cafe....More

I was disappointed with this exhibition and felt that the entrance charges were a little steep for what it was. We are not Quakers but knew a little about this religion. I came away knowing nothing new. I enjoyed the part about the famous Quakers...More
