This is a delightful hike with reasonable height and distance. It’s a great way to get acclimated to fell hiking and the surrounding countryside.

Moderate walking great scenery on many parts, only one lane to cross over. Little scramble not suitable for dogs on that part but many paths leading a easier route.

Uphill (first part anyway) but not too steep. Well marked easy track Magnificent views in every direction from the top. Not to be missed when in Keswick - find the time!

lovely early evening walk with the kids. Tiny bit of scrambling to add a little interest. Great views of derwent water, and the paragliders from the top

It's quite steep to walk up, but once you're up there, the views are spectacular! Well worth the struggle.

This popular ridge walk is easily accessed from Keswick by either bus or ferry. This is a linear walk on well defined trails which would be great for introducing youngsters to the joys of fell walking with tremendous views all round and particularly of Derwent...More
