We were a 3-generations family group and spent about an hour in the museum. It was interesting and informative. Apparently the company makes (in Workington not in Keswick) 14 billion pencils per year - that's two each for the world's population! The story of the...More

£3.50 to park. £4.75 each to go in the museum.. had a bit of history, a lot of seemingly similar pencils and a shop. Not worth the money. Give it a miss unless you are really into pencils, or want to purchase pencil sets.

Thought this location was very expensive, could have reduced price on presentation of car parking ticket. Left a nasty taste.

Me and my son visited here for the first time in Aug 2015 and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Was devastating what happened with the floods and couldn't believe that it shut as it was flooded. So happy though when we knew it was opening...More

Well, we've driven past this museum SO many times, and this holibob we visited. Lovely staff, interesting story, great shop and a chance to sit awhile and do a little drawing, even colouring. Just a pleasant way to spend a morning or afternoon.

Hi Lucy, we are hoping to reopen on Friday, 26th May. We have been refurbishing the Museum after a severe flood last year.
