This pier could be a gem if someone spent some serious money, however it really needs a face-lift. They are trying to update some of the seating but it should be shut down until it can be completed to a good standard.

The pier boards creak and shift alarmingly but we made it to the end and back. The carousel is worth a spin - but someone needs to put in some effort - bird guano everywhere should be mopped away - its the summer season!

The North Pier is quieter, no fun fair or ferris wheel, always good to stroll to the end and have a coffee. At the entrance there's a noisy amusement arcade. Have fun!

Nostalgic pier that needs a good lick of paint and perhaps a few more things open! Believe it is due for renovation which would be good

We strolled along the north pier but nothing was open. It is being refurbished but very very slowly by the looks of things, disappointed.

Oh no! We're going on Sunday for my daughter's birthday but the pier was in a pretty poor state last time we went. Thanks for answering x
