I remember visiting this place when I was a boy. I was so scared when I went into the dungeons. Steeped in historic facts. My recent visit though was to attend a concert by Sally Barker. What a great intimate venue for such niche artists.

Brilliant place. Fascinating artefacts and building. Wonderful ancient wooden smell in the actual hall. Great bookshelves, panel long and stained glass. What a gem. Thank you to the staff for answering our question so effectively.

Sitting next to Leicester Cathedral and near to KRIII visitor centre, this is a gem not to be missed. Medieval architecture. Artefacts One of my favourite places in Leicester I have been here often so the date I have given is arbitrary

We were in Leicester to visit St Martin's Cathedral to view Richard III's tomb and also to go through the excellent Visitor Center for Richard across the way. In walking outside the cathedral right around the corner stood a wonderful medieval building. It was the Guildhall and I'm glad that we came upon it because we didn't know anything about... More

The White Rose cafe is next door to Leicester Cathedral, and having just visited the cathedral and enjoyed a coffee in the modern cafe you can gain access to the Guildhall from the cafe. It's worth having a look outside at the front of the Guildhall though (adjacent to the cathedral ) as it's a very fine timbered framed building.... More

This makes for a fantastic day of learning. To start with its such an old building, it really shows. Truly wonderful to enter a building that was built so many centuries ago, and to see its history and the sort of activities that went about in there. Fascinating. Moreover there are little tidbits here a d three that mesmerising such... More

Next to Leicester Cathedral. Was once the town hall. County goal at our end time too. Lovely old tutor building in the heart of the city. Just nearound to other attractions too. King Richard visitor centre across the way.
