Took my 7 year old here twice in a week as she was. Intrigued by all there was to do and see. She did the Stone Age and learnt all about archeology so coming here she learnt loads more about different artefacts and times.

People notice the building outside, but few made their way inside. We were alone during our visit. A beautiful old guildhall with many features preserved, windows, wooden panels, beams. You can sense history in every area. The great hall is stunning - the minstrel's gallery...More

We were advised to visit the Guildhall while the Cathedral was closed for a service in the afternoon. So glad we did it as we would have missed out if the Cathedral had been open. Ancient, inspiring and wonderful things to see.

Very friendly staff. Very nice smaller cathedral and of course the highlight was seeing the tomb which is very well done. Lovely precinct outside as well. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This was once the Town Hall and Gaul (Prison). Said to be Haunted! If visiting Leicester the Cathedral and the Richard 111 exhibition are just a few moments apart.
