We visited here with our 9 year old and had a great day. Lots to do here and many interactive exhibits. We viewed both the planetarium shows (one is included in entry, a second is £3) and this was well worth it. Food and gifts are reasonably priced. Parking was £3. We were there for 5 hours and could have... More

The planetarium was a great experience (Nanna stayed outside with our 8month old baby though) but I will definitely recommend visitors to come on school holidays only as the place is absolutely packed with school children on weekdays and the acoustics is pretty poor. Usually our baby is able to nap in his stroller while we walk around in places... More

We visited on Sunday for the Lego weekend. There was lots to see for young and old alike. My 4 year old was in her element. The Space Centre itself has enough to keep a little one busy for a couple of hours, and given that you can convert your ticket to an annual pass for free, it's a very... More

Visited the NSC over the Lego weekend recently and had a reasonably good day out. Parking is £3 for the day which I always find a shame when you're already paying for the attraction itself. Over all the facilities are good, they seem a little worn and outdated. Ready for a refurb, the place is spacious but certainly when we... More

This is seriously the worst day out ever. I would rather have unnecessary surgery then return to this place. If you like paying lots of money to enter a confined space with armies of screaming kids and overpriced food then this could be the place for you... I didn't enjoy it. All of the "attractions" are rubbish and boring even... More

I had a spare few hours on a recent business trip to Leicester and saw the sign for the Nation Space Center but was not aware there was such a place, I have recently canvased a few other people in the UK and they were not aware the center existed either. first thing to point out is the center is... Unfortunately was disappointed. Considering we've just had a British astronaut in space there was very little information. Felt they could have made more of this. Some exhibits where quite complicated and some too much the other way. A bit tired looking. Cafe was awful. Thought it would be a full day to visit, but sadly was 1 to 2 hours.... More

A thoroughly informative and appealing centre. Even if you do not understand all the science involved, it is still great fun to climb into a space capsule and play on all the hands on experiments. great for kids and adults alike!
