Bransby Horses is one of the UK’s largest equine welfare charities in the UK, completely funded by the generosity of public donations. We are dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules since we were established in 1968. We have rescued, rehabilitated, re-homed or retired thousands of equines and we are working harder than ever to continue making a positive difference to equines wherever and whenever we can. Between our two sites in Lincolnshire and Herefordshire we have over 400 animals currently in our care, which keeps us constantly busy. Bransby Horses Visitor Centre near Lincoln is open to the public. A great day out for all the family with plenty to see and do.

We really enjoyed our visit to Bransby. The animals all looked contented and staff were friendly and helpful. Grandchildren loved it. The cafe is good with a lovely seating area outside.

Access is not charged however donations are accepted, I would almost like to tell them to put the donation box at the exit as you don’t quite realised how amazing the place is until you have been around. And to think it is run on...More

Where do you begin with this place?its just fantastic.The animals are so looked after the place is wonderful,6 years ive been going and it just gets better.It restores your faith in people to see the kindness given to these magnificent creatures.Well done.Please visit them!

We were visiting Lincoln so made a slight detour to stop off on the way home. Glad we did as it's well worth a visit. The information panels inside are very interesting detailing the work that they have undertaken. Was nice to see the paddocks...More

You cannot ride the horses at bransby as they are mainly rescue or retired, however you can have one hour ride in Lincoln for £20 at park riding school on the common which is fantastic
