We bought our tickets (which can be reused for up to 6 months) inside the visitors centre the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, 1st we went to see the Magna Carter, set in very high tech surroundings with a cinema screen explanation and a guard/guide who was so interesting explaining all about the history, then we toured the prison,... The castle is well worth a visit,we joined a tour hosted by Martin and was well worth it,the information and knowledge was amazing. To see original magna cat is definitely a highlight and we will be returning to see the Doomsday book this summer.

Part of a double ticket with the cathedral. It was a glorious day so views over the city from the new walkway were exceptional, with the cathedral visible in all its glory. Three major historical documents can be viewed, Magna Carta being the most famous. The prison inside the keep gives an insight into the life and times of a... More

My new favourite place in Lincoln, beautiful with stunning views all over the city. Really interesting inside the castle and a really nice place to sit and have a picnic. Joint ticket with the cathedral £16 per adult, well worth the money. The wall walk is stunning however is very high.

It was our first trip to the castle but highly recommend it to visitors. You really need a good day weather wise to make the most of your trip although there is a lot to see inside

We went here on a trip with school due to the fact it's part of the GCSE course. It was extremely knowledgeable and gave lots of opportunities to find out new things you didn't already know. Being able to see the Magna-Carta was a priveledge, and having access to the prisons and activities rooms made it entertaining and engaging while... More

Took my elderly parents and enjoyed the improved displays. The magna carta display was accessible to someone with reduced mobility . It was a cold day but the coffee shop was a welcome stop to warm us up.

My husband bought the dual ticket for the Cathedral and the Castle. You can have the audio tour which is very informative and walk the castle walls. To many school children hanging around the toilets for my liking. Should be supervised. But worth a visit.
