Convenient place, with good scenery and near lovely restaurants. Spacious, with free wifi, which is a good feature. Comfy seats in the various halls and along the corridors, with good technology and connection. Expensive to use the cloakroom, which does not help when conferences are already very expensive. In addition, although lunch was tasty, it was extremely small portions (worse... More

I've been here several times over the years. The main draw-back is having the coffee and sponsors' stalls 2 floors below the conference rooms. 2 escalator trips each break is a nuisance, but compared with other such venues, much less walking! The staff are respectful,, cheerful and helpful. The cloakroom will hold your bags and coats, there are plenty of... More

I attended a conference here and didn't like it at all. Toilets were often devoid of paper, WiFi was terrible (apparently front desk could help but I didn't have time to go) everyone complained about how poor it was. Catering was ok- nothing special. Power points in Members lounge were not working and MAJOR lack of bins throughout the venue.

Went to see his endeavour tour show. What a disappointment. Presentation was articulate but unflattering. Thought I was going to learn first hand how to survive in extreme conditions. What we actually got was an ex SAS Soldier talking about other persons extreme experience occasionally trying to impress us with some wired acrobatics. Many people left as early as halftime.... I have been to many conferences at many different places. This one caused quite a lot of complaints from disabled attendees from the beginning of the event. I do not consider myself disabled, but I found it a strain to walk between the conference hall and the smaller meeting rooms, particularly since it generally involved going up two levels, crossing... The names on the menu of the lunch served at the convention centre definitely impress and promise a lot. Visually, everything appears fine, but then you take your first bite. The bread of the sandwiches is stale and dry, hardly edible. The amount of cheese in the Greek salad wrap (interesting concept) is more than an elegant sufficiency and its... More

I have attended the Echo Arena often, but this was my first visit to the conference centre next door. What a great show ,(Sarah Millican) the pleasant surprise was the comfortable seating (great for the larger person), and great auditorium. I would recommend a visit. Great for wheelchair users too. The staff were also very accommodating. I'm looking now to... More

Having been to the Arena next door on several occasions, this was our first visit to the Convention Centre. Apart from the usual overpriced drinks (like all these venues), it's very good. Comfortable seats have plenty of legroom and the added bonus of a pull out tray in the armrest that can be used for standing your drinks on. The... More

Have been the Arena many times, but last night was the first time we ventured into the Auditorium inside the Convention Centre. The Venue is great. We had our bags checked as we entered and where told to get rid of any liquids, this is common practice and more an oversight on our behalf. The staff where friendly and guided... More
