I wanted to warn people as we were unable to travel - used to pop across the Mersey with friends who came to the area. We were taking Grandaughter to the tram Museum on the Wirral (very good). When we tried to use the Ferry we were told that outside commuter times only the tour was available which was much... More

Great trip across the Mersey river seeing all the sights on a sunny but cold day. Trip was done as a double with open top bus tour (reviewed separately) so great value. Also as part of package includes free entry into a WW2 submarine rescued from the seas of Denmark. Really interesting to see the scale of this and wonder... More

An enjoyable trip across the Mersey with good views of both sides, particularly of the famous skyline including the famous Liver Building. Apart from anything else, as someone who is old enough to remember Gerry and the Pacemakers song, this was a must for me.

Lovely trip on the historical boat with very good seating areas and cafe on board. Good stopping places enabling us to see spacecraft and the uboat exhibition.

well if you are visiting Liverpool, and the Beatles experience is your thing then Ferry cross the Mersey is a must. 50 minutes and 10 quid filled a rainy day with a magical experience. Just turn up to go. And yes they do play Ferry Cross The Mersey as you cross.

Takes about an hour with 3 stops. Ferry is comfortable and clean. The highlight is the views of Liverpool which take on the traditional and developing skyline are from an unobstructed perspective which you couldn't get from any other place.

Visited Easter weekend A must try if visiting Liverpool. As you board they play the music 'Ferry across the Mersey' It may sound cheesy but I guarantee you are singing it in your head before they start playing it. I loved this made me smile. The cost is £10.00 adult for a 50 minute cruise, I used my Tesco tokens... More

Bought as part of a package including the U Boat story and Spaceport. Travelled across to Liverpool and then to the Pier at Spaceport. Great views and enjoyable as the weather was pleasant and the sailing smooth. The commentary is easier to hear outside as it's nosier inside with the engine and people chatting.

The ferry starts at 10 am, from the very modern ferry building, adjacent is The Liver Building which you can get a good picture of and there is a statue of The Beatles too. Took the short trip on a very breezy day - you need to consider your dress as it was considerably (and understandably) much colder on the... More
