Did the Sunday afternoon walk with Lucy (or Chiller Black as she likes to be known by us mortals) as part of a city break. Great fun and a good mix of history and gruesome tales of yore. And fantastic value as it's completely FREE!...More

Had a brilliant time, the tour was brilliant! so theatrical and entertaining throughout. Good price for a tour of over an hour. They gave us a drinks offer at a local pub after too! Thoroughly enjoyed exploring Liverpools old streets with Shiverpool and would return...More

This was so much fun and I would definitely go on more tours in the future! The tour guides were amazing and it scarier than I imagined it was going to be! If you are considering going on one of these tours - just go!...More

It's a late-ish 9.30pm start for this tour, in and around Hope Street, from cathedral to cathedral. A nice touch of the macabre and theatrical flourishes from our energetic OTT guides, the 'brothers' Rikki Mortis and Robin Graves. I'm a bit of a Liverpool stories...More

I was a little skeptical about how a horror tour could be successful on public streets, but I was very impressed. There was a good combination of theatrical elements and facts, and as someone who is in the area every day it was interesting to...More

It was a cool and shivery Saturday evening in April when we braved the Liverpool ghostly tour. Our spirit guides were the brother and sister duo of Ricky Mortis and Chilla Black. We met outside the world famous Philharmonic pub in Hope Street at 9:30....More

The hosts Chiller Black and Ricky Mortis were highly entertaining and quick with the one liners. Our interest was held throughout the tour as they regaled as with ghoulish tales....and we had a pretty good scare at the end where I screamed my head off!

This walking tour was awesome! Chilla Black and Ricky Mortis were great as well as their sidekick (the mysterious victorian gentleman!). Thoroughly recommend this to anyone... as long as you have a strong constitution! (insert creepy laugh!!) 👻

Very informative and engaging. It's clear the guides are very passionate about what they do and create a wonderful atmosphere whist giving the gory and grisly history of Liverpool's past. My only niggle is that if you do one of the earlier tours while its...More

I have relatives who are seriously interested in the history of Liverpool. I'm a little worried this will be too lighthearted for them. Do you think this would be informative enough as well as being entertaining.

It is more entertaining than a lesson in Liverpool history, however a really good and interesting evening with a few facts thrown in, and very funny in parts. Would recommend to your visitors anyway.
