Liverpool tourist institution that really should be visited at least once if you go to Liverpool. The music memorabilia inside is impressive and live music played pretty much all day (and we'll into the night) Drinks are relatively expensive but get a couple down you and you'll soon be singing along to the tribute acts that play a mix of... We hadn't necessarily intended to visit but did since we were close. It was very interesting with memorabilia all around the place. A must for Beatle fans.

I didn't have a clue what to expect as we descended into the Cavern having paid for the privilege. I thought that maybe we would look around a dusty, long abandoned cellar full of cobwebs and musty smells. As it turned out it was a vibrant bar and live venue for loud music and nostalgic 60’s memorabilia. Well worth a... More

It's only small, there isn't a huge amount there, yet it is full of nostalgia and you just HAVE to visit the Cavern, when in Liverpool. Didn't realise before, all the groups who actually played there.Free entrance, during the day and often there is a singer performing for you, plus you can buy drinks and just sit, enjoy being back... You cannot go to Liverpool and not visit the Caravan Club! There is incredible atmosphere here from the minute it opens! Fantastic music and good alcohol. What more could you ask for. I can guarantee you will not want to leave.

This was my second visit into the rebuilt cavern. OK, so its not original. OK, so it looks commercial and overhyped. Appearances are deceptive. Deliciously dank, gloomy, hot, sweaty and crowded on a sunday evening, we watched a Beatles tribute band who quite contrary to expectation, belted out some great renditions. The crowd was old and young, dancing and singing...what... More

The cavern club was better than expected , very lively very atmospheric , fair prices on drinks . Had two separate live music areas which run from 12pm and free to get in through the day . Can't come to Liverpool without going in this legendary club

We stop off here on the Saturday afternoon for an hour or so, with a 16 year old and 9 year old. As you can imagine seating is a premium otherwise it's standing room only. Which was a little disappointing for our 9 year old as he struggled to see the stage. It £2.50 to get in ,in the day... More
