A former school tucked away in the city center. One of the oldest and most attractive buildings in Liverpool now plays host to contemporary art and performance displays. The rear secret garden is a tranquil, picturesque place to take a breather from the surrounding hubbub.

Although situated in the centre of liverpool this is truly a peaceful spit away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I selected the aubergine pamigiano and salad - with a soft drink the cost was approx £6 . The generous lunch would have been considered reasonable for dinner . The quality of fresh homemade produce was a delight.... More

I hired the Bluecoat for a big birthday celebrationand what a great night it was. Virtually all the guests commented on what a great venue it was visually, but what made it really special was the service the staff provided. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The night was further enhanced by the catering - the... More

It was a lovely bright sunny but (chilly) day. We ordered big bowls of their homemade sweet potato spicy soup, with thick slices of fresh... More

Whilst browsing about in the middle of the shopping centre you suddenly come across this beautiful building. As you walk into the courtyard you come to individual little artisan shops, such as a jewellers, and an old bookshop. They had lovely individual pieces of jewellery, and if I could have afforded to buy a piece I wouldn't have known what... More

A lovely, calm oasis near the shopping centre, it's like stepping into a different world. The gallery shop is fantastic and there is something there to suit every pocket with very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely looking building showing art (mainly contemp) which seemed to be a bit random and 'studenty' like. Shouldn't be compared with the likes of the Tate obviously and probably down to personal taste. A bunch of students (?) were doing a show in the inner garden which was very random and if anything a bit annoying to those having a... More
