Beautiful venue

This is a lovely place with excellent views over the river. It is a nice place to stop for a picnic and view the beautiful flowers in the spring and summer.

I went on a Sunday afternoon with my young daughter. We went into the maze which is very good. Charged £5 for both of us and it was good fun. We had to look for cartoon characters put out around the maze. We found most of them and we got a little prize at the end. This made my daughter... More

Very enjoyable bike ride down the prom from the albert dock. Hired the Liverpool bikes for the day and went all the way down to the red bull at the end of the prom, took approx 3 hours after a few stops at the Britannia pub! Lovely to enjoy on a fine summers day!

A lovely walk by the Mersey. Always something nice to see. The views across the river can be spectacular. Grassy areas and paved areas. Seating at various places be warned, wellies after rain are a good idea. Plenty of parking and a several pubs/ cafes. Dogs and kids are welcome. There is a play area which is great to get... More

We are not the only people who are drawn to the river on a sunny day. We regularly drive down to Otterspool for several reasons. We may visit the tip and get rid of rubbish, we drive along the curving road to find a parking space. We may get a cup of tea or coffee at the cafe. We sometimes... More

Stunnig wide promenade along the banks of the River Mersey. It is peaceful and calming and along the promenade you will find a couple of pubs and a fabulous place for teas (Otterspool Cafe). This is the perfect place to dream away a day (take a picnic). The adventurous and those who like a very long walk (6 kms) can... More

Amazingly never been here before but friends of ours rave about it and can see why....huge open spaces, kids play areas and wooded areas to explore all against the gorgeous back drop of the River Mersey...and most importantly for a park that's suitable for kids, it was spotless. Can't wait to go back, next time with the dog who will... More

Very green, peaceful and quiet. Can walk from Aigburth all the way to Pier Head or if you get tired you can catch the train from nearby Aigburth, St Michaels or Brunswick stations for a short journey into the City Centre. Locals will be exercising, fishing, having picnics and enjoying the greenery and views across the river.
