Victoria Gallery & Museum is housed in the stunning architecture of the University of Liverpool's famous flagship 'redbrick' building. Please note: The gallery & museum are not open on Mondays, but the cafe and gift shop are both available. The Victoria Gallery & Museum does not open at all on bank holiday Mondays and is closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

It's quite 'spooky' on Halloween when I visited once for a writers workshop to write spooky stories. Building has historical importance and pleasant cafe that serves hot food on ground floor.

Found this place by accident and was rewarded with a visit to an eclectic assortment of exhibits from The University’s collections. There were some amazing comic illustrations, some gruesome teeth and some early physics experiments that looked both impressive and beyond me! Real star though...More

Watched lego batman for the morning film followed by making a butterfly picture with my granddaughter who is 6 years of age cannot wait for the next family day which is the last Saturday off every month.

I took my little one to see the free showing of Zootropolis during the monthly Family Saturdays - afterwards he joined in one of the workshops and crafted his own badge. He loved it and exploring the galleries and museum afterwards. Great place to visit...More

Placed at the University of Liverpool, Victoria Galery is quite small but still very interesting with some activities for you to do :)

VGM is part of Liverpool University. It is in a massive red brick building. Entrance is free, you can see the exhibitions in half an hour. After that have a nice cup of coffee or tea in its cafe. The personnel is very friendly and...More
