First and foremost, we booked this cuz we thought it was the other jack the ripper tour led by the beefeaters, and we were initially disappointed when i found out that we paid for the wrong one. Now with that being said, we went on this tour and I'm so glad we did! The narrater was great, passionate and expressive,... More

This tour is something my wife and myself had been meaning to do for some years. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and brought the whole story to life. For £10 we spent an enjoyable 2 hours walking the streets of Whitechapel learning of the lives of those that lived there. It was obvious from the outset that there are... More

As many other reviewers already stated, the tours live on the energy and ability of the guide to re-create a city and it's atmosphere long gone. And despite the typical London maze as background, they do it so well, it is like listening to an audio book, immersing in your imagination.

Our guide Angie, was awesome. She knew all the history, all the information, and truly enjoyed doing the tours. Highly recommend this tour, very informative of all the victims, complete with some pretty graphic photographs, and very good knowledge of the area. The tour lasted almost 2 hours, so if there is one drawback, it's a long time to be... More

We joined this walk last night even though we did it several years ago. Unfortunately most of the places we saw last time were no longer there due to new roads, office blocks etc causing the original spots, where Jack the Ripper was supposed to have murdered his victims, being demolished to make way for more infrastructure within Whitechapel. However,... More

I went on the Jack the Ripper tour on Saturday as part of a group of 4 and we had a good time. Prior to the tour the company had been very helpful allowing our group to add on 2 extra people and pay on the day to ensure we were all in the same group. Our tour guide for... More

My wife and I took this tour on 10/03/17. Our tour guide Angie was wonderful! She was knowledgable, informative, and passionate without being cheesy. Angie did a great job setting the mood and trying to explain what the times were like for the residents of Whitechapel during that era. She gave a history of the area but kept things centered... We did this Tour on Saturday. It was excellent and our guide John was excellent and very interesting and informative and took us back in time to the 1800s. The price was very reasonable. Well worth doing and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. - Well done and keep up the excellent work.

Thank Judith G

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
