Having walked past the palace many times, we decided to go in on a recent visit. The tour of the palace takes you through several different parts, withowever a number of interesting rooms. One of the best parts was a display of dresses worn by the Queen, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana.

this was a big waste of time. If you want to see were Kate and Will life and the rest of Royals life just do a walk by as you see nothing inside that is worth while to me at least. You can see some of Diana's and the Queens dresses, but that is all. You see a few rooms... More

If you are in Kensington Gardens and want some indoor time I recommend Kensington Palace but........it's a quick visit with limited areas to view and there are much better attractions a mere tube stop away so you may opt to skip this if time is short. Kids are free.

Nice place to visit. Very historical and lot's to see. Don't miss the gardens. It leads to the pond and the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain all the way to Hyde Park and Harrods.

We visited Kensington Palace on a beautiful Autumn day in September of this year. I have wanted to visit here for many many years and being able to stroll through the gardens and enter the Palace, as well as have morning tea here was a memory I will never forget. Entering the palace and seeing Princess Diana's large photograph on... More

I liked Kensington Palace because is focused on the lives of Queen Victoria and Princess Diana. The palace is not very big and you can do the whole visit in 1 hour or so, which for me was not very good as I expected more but I really enjoyed everything in there, especially the exhibition of some famous dresses from... Touring Kensington Palace is really easy as the lay out of the exhibitions is excellent and flows well. The attendants in each room were very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The cafe and shop are immaculate. As a person with coeliac disease I really appreciated that gluten free cakes were available.

I enjoy visiting historical places and palaces. This had been on my list. But it speaks volumes that I didn't take photos. The state rooms were as expected. Windsor is more impressive. Hampton Court is more interesting. The temporary exhibit of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret's and Princess Diana's gowns was better than the palace. Oddly, there is NO mention that... More
