My view....... £101 to enter a Zoo, £2.20 for a lemonade, £1.80 for water and small expensive meals for the kids which cost £17.50. Lesson 1. I arrived at the gate, was not offered a family ticket and ended up paying £25 extra to get in. Ask for the family ticket if you are a family of 4. Lesson 2.... More

Me and my partner visited ZSL London Zoo on 18th March and all-in-all we came away happy. It was a nice day out but like a lot of zoos, was mainly filled with different types of monkeys and birds. The fact that London Zoo is in the corner of Regents Park does mean that the zoo is quite small, and... More

Unfortunately the zoo is looking very tired and many areas were empty of animals. I understand it is charity run but we had to pay £29 each which was in excess for what was on offer. They need to update it soon or it will just continue to go down hill. Very disappointed with the visit

Since we were already at Madame Tussauds at Baker Street, right near the Underground station, To reach the zoo we just walked to the bus stop and took bus number 274. This dropped us a short walk away from the zoo. One just needs to cross the got bridge and wall to the entrance. This zoo has grown to a... More

I've been to London Zoo a few times but not for a few years (apart from their excellent 'friendly spider' course, which was one of the best decisions I ever made). I'm sorry to say that the zoo suffers from lack of attention to the basics and was a sorry disappointment. The animal attractions are variable, with some (lemurs, gorillas)... More

Went for a mother's day treat. Firstly, I must say it is rather expensive at £30 per adult and £22 per child. Am glad we had Tesco vouchers so we didn't have to pay that. Works out a very expensive day if not. Have not been for many years. The zoo is in a lovely setting in Regent's Park, lovely... More

Took my 3 year old daughter to this zoo and it was amazing. Beautiful grounds and so much to explore! She was so excited at every turn with something new! The exhibits were amazing and nothing I have ever seen in the zoos back at home in Australia. I would definitely recommend coming here!

My partner and I took our 3 year old lad to visit on Mothers day as part of weekend to London and had a fantastic time. This is by far one of the best zoo's we have visited, with an amazing variety of animals and excellent exhibits/enclosures. We found it compact enough to easily get around, even for those with... Price online is £25.50 which I would say is very reasonable. In parts, the zoo looks the age it is and although it is a great day out, I would have liked to have seen more of big cat animals like cheetahs. All in all though, it's definitely worth a visit with lots of variety.

While we were in London we went to the zoo twice! With both trips lasting more than three hours, I think we still missed a few exhibits. It was a treat to have so many exhibits that allowed us to get up close to the animals. The walk through lemur and rain Forrest exhibits for example. The penguin beach was... More
