Fairly priced attraction, kids loved it. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide/staff. A few levels with steep steps for the kids to enjoy and climb. Some treasure chests about which they loved to look in. Cannons proved a hit as they loved to climb over them...More

A fun old ship to see with great history but a lot of kids around the area. Multiple school tours here. Unless I missed it, I couldn’t figure out what there was to do besides walk by. I had figured I could go into the...More

Thank you for taking the time to review The Golden Hinde. Apologies it wasn't clear that you can come aboard for a visit and learn about her history. We are currently carrying out important refit work but she is still open to the public. It...More

When leaving Borough Market to begin another section of the Southbank Thames Walk you can’t miss the Golden Hinde. It is beautifully presented and worth a photo if not a tour inside.

Well worth spending some time visiting this marvellous historic ship, its a lot small than what I thought and more aimed at kids entertaining (which the staff do well), its easy to find and well preserved. The Legend of Mary Overie is worth a read...More

I've just been a guest with my daughter and 20 other Brownies overnight on the ship. The staff were really welcoming and the activities put on were very appropriate for their age; all the girls liked getting into costume as well. The actors were so...More

Smaller than expected. Looked cool. Really nice market close by for good eating and cookies. Cafe nero and pub close to river whilst you look at it.

Thank you for your review. Imagine sailing on it around the world with 60 - 80 other crew members as Sir Francis Drake did, she would have certainly felt small then! We hope you come visit us again as we will be planning various events.

As family of 5, including 3 children, found this to be very enjoyable. Good information given out as we go onto the ship. Certainly transported you way back in time. We were surprised how deep the vessel went. Obviously, as you would expect, quite cramped...More
