This is an effluent area by the River Thames. The area is adorned with many hidden squares with white pillared Victorian houses, shiny brand new cars and a wide selection of restaurants and shops. It is the ultimate place to wander around and pick out...More

King's Road shopping. Not as trendy as in the 1960s. Habitat has lost its first floor restaurant. Peter Jones (great refurbishment with floors sweeping around central atrium). Saatchi Gallery (hugely pretentious but nice slightly whiffy wooden flooring). Manincomio and a branch of Polpo. Chelsea Town...More

Was expecting the wow factor and got nice but nothing special. I have been wanting to go for many years, I visited today with my sister and was expecting something great. In actual fact it was like visiting an overpriced, over crowded garden centre/market. Very...More

A lot of upscale shopping, many shops, cafes and restaurants. The main street is very long, one can spend a long time walking from one side to the other.

Part of the Kensington and Chelsea borough, Chelsea stretches near the river and is centred around King's road and it's tube station. Expect quietness after 9pm weekdays, even weekends as all the show offs living there would have went to bed. Mostly packed with foreigners...More

When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop,
they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined
tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And
when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already
got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the
perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion
walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the
ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this
