One of the great opera houses, home to the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet and host to international companies from across the world, such as the Mariinsky from St Petersburg this week, which was stunning. Tickets can be expensive for the best seats, but it...More

Very pleased to be invited to the performance in Royal Opera House ''L’elisir d’amore'' comedy with fantastic cast: Aleksandra Kurzak and Roberto Alagna. Gorgeous Opera house with specific atmosphere. Helpful staff and great service in the bar during the interval.

If you expect a backstage tour to spend most of its 75 minutes in the front-of-house lobby and rear stalls for lectures on the theatre’s history and rehearsal process, looking at the view from the rooftop restaurant, and standing in the wardrobe room for a...More

This is a must see venue and worth the high expenditure for a treaty night out. We saw the 2017 production of Turandot and it was fabulous. Great singing and wonderful set and choreography. A night at an ROH production, whether opera or ballet, has...More

We saw Turandot on Sunday evening, wonderful production with amazing perfomances from singers, dancers and orchestra. Surprisingly ROH didn't overcharge for programmes, drinks or ice creams. Wonderful venue and tickets not too outrageous even for orchestra stalls

The opera house is a magnificent building. This is the second year I've been able to see the summer show. Sadly the second half was very challenging due to the steward not telling the woman and teen age daughter sat next to us to stop...More
