So I just got to London, Jumped on a bus to gain access to a tube station (Victoria) and rode who know how far across the city. Pretty inexpensive, since I am going to be here for a bit, I bought the Oyster Card. I am starting to get the hang of this subway/Tube riding!

My family and I visited London in April 2017 and we planned to use the Tube as our primary means of transportation. Traveling with an infant son, we found it very difficult to get around as many of the stops are not accessible. They don't have lifts (elevators) and many of the stations had escalators that were out of service.... More

Only my second trip to the big city and I love the tube, not just the fact that it gets me where I want to go, but it's an engineering triumph. Just imagine London without it. I did notice straight away that the platforms and carriages where much cleaner, so thank you to whoever sorted that out. It makes traveling... More

You can go every where and anywhere on the tube and its so easy and with different ways to pay everyone is catered for. The trains... More

During a stopover in Heathrow, I used the Tube to get down town to see some sites as you can access it right from the airport. Not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated at first as it was my first time ever using this method of transport, but when I got down to the enterance a very nice Tube... More

Not sure why I was asked to submit a review, but I was prompted so I will finish! A great way to travel through the city, and surprisingly easy to be honest. It looks overwhelming, but it's not. Simple, quick and mostly clean. Unless when they are on strike and London hate the network!

The easiest and the quickest way to get around London. Really well organized and love it. From Heatrow airport to London Bridge was really easy, then from there to Watford junction was really easy.

When you think that there is a network of tunnels underneath London that has hundreds of trains moving people to their destination, it is an incredible reality. Considering the volume of travellers that use the service, it is clean, cheap, and the best way to travel around the city. Traveller Tips - Check your seat (if you get one) to... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
