Address
Neighbourhood: Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.

Lovely theater and comfy enough seats (especially with the extra leg room in the very front row), but the bathroom situation could be better, as in, there didn't seem to be any "accessible" toilets (i.e., for pregnant or disabled, etc.), and the lines to the women's were of course always long.
The Book of Mormon was an excellent show!

I have seen this show here before but has decided to bring my girlfriend for her birthday and she loved it. Great story, choreography and singing makes it one of the best, with a very risky subject matter and a large slice of South Park. Great theatre and hopefully we will come back in the future to see it again.

This is really a very stunning and beautiful theatre and our first visit. We saw the Book of Mormon here on Saturday 30th April 14:30 showing which I have written a brilliant review of separately. We had a terrific time in this theatre and the seats we had in the Circle row K, 25 & 26 were in a perfect position and actually for the 2.5 hours we sat in them very comfortable. The staff working here did a brilliant job and gave support and guidance to people as required. When we arrived we had to queue and we went to the back to locate the end and this snacked its way to the end of the building and around the corner some 100 yards further on. Having said that the queue did move fairly quickly and within 15 minutes we were inside. I did see one young couple arrive and the man said a couple of words to the man by the barrier who let them duck underneath and just walk in. We find that infuriating that certain people feel they have a right to just jump the queue as we saw them both later sitting just in front of us in the circle. Anyway apart from that we had no issues.

We recently went to see the Book of Mormon at the prince of wales. Due to a series of unfortunate events we had to take our young son (no judgement please 🙈). Staff were really helpful, a few checked we knew about the content but managed to do so in a non judgemental way.
The reason I have marked the theatre down is that the toilet situation is ridiculous. There are 2 sets of toilets neither of which have many cubicles. We were in the second row of the stalls which was a staircase away from either set of toilets. During the interval the queue for the ladies reached all the way up the stairs and round the corner and many people didn’t get to the front before the performance restarted. More toilets please, this is the worst I have seen at any theatre.

First time at this theatre and we saw The Book of Mormon which was amazing! Although we had pretty much the worst seats in the place we still had a great view of the stage and didn't miss anything. If anything could have been better is if rows of latecomers didn't cause a commotion trying to find their seats in the dark. There didn't seem to be any announcements of the show starting soon aside from 1 minute beforehand. An announcement 5 minutes before might have helped avoid this.

As soon as we got out the taxi one of female members of staff, upon seeing my husband's walking stick, escorted us to the front of the theatre and introduced us to Accessibility Host Jake, who firstly showed us where the disabled toilets were, waited while we got some drinks from the bar, then took us to our seats. He then came back at the end of the first half and kindly offered to get our pre-ordered interval drinks, and again at the end of the show to help us through the crowds to the lift. He really made the experience so much more enjoyable for my disabled husband and also me, as his wife and his carer, it helped alleviate a lot of my anxieties. We were surprised to learn that he'd only been working there for 2 weeks, and even more astonished to find out he'd only been trained in that role on the previous day! This is a testament to the training and attitude of the theatre, which is nothing short of commendable. Oh, and by the way, the Book of Mormon is definitely the funniest musical EVER! (As long as you don't mind a lot of profanity and religious mockery!)

Went to see Book of Mormon recently. But I want to review the staff who were all so helpful, especially Lauren. Although I have mobility problems I had to book the circle to get 3 seats together. Lauren took us to our seats, she even popped back to see if we were ok, and arranged for us to get ice creams in our seats. This is service over and above. I can’t praise the p o w theatre enough. The view from the circle, right side towards back, was fantastic. Because of lack of pillars think all seats would have good view. Ps Book of Mormon was well worth seeing, very very funny

Went to see 'Book of Mormon' and it did not disappoint. Very comfortable seats [we chose A 20-21] nice bar and facilities. They do check that you have 'Double Jab' ID or they would not let you in and checking everyone caused a 15 minute delay in getting everyone seated.

Saw Book of Mormon recently. Great show in a nice theatre. However the Covid precautions were ineffective. Queuing up around the outside of the building. Cursory bag checks which did not appear to be of any use. Staff member asked for vaccination proof which was not closely scrutinised on a dark street, or scanned, so the QR code could have been for anything. Did not inspire confidence. Then....cast member held all theatre goers up at end of performance to make a charity appeal. Felt as if I was being held hostage.

Can recommend Busaba Bangkok Thai, Leicester Square (it's not actually in Leicester Sq but at 35 Panton Street SW1Y 4EA) very short walk to the theatre.
Scrummy food - and they do a choice of tasty 'bowl' at lunchtime for £10.00
It's our 'go-to' every time we are seeing a show nearby. Great food

Hello.
Is anyone know if I'm allowed to take a large bag in with me or if they have storage? Thank you.

Can I enter with shopping bags? Can I check them in with my coat? How much would it cost?

Good day. I purchased VIP tickets for Book of Mormons. Would appreciate knowing if there is a specific entrance for these tickets or do we use the general entrance. Thanks for any information.

I think there is just the one entrance although there will likely be staff at the door to ask. The show is brilliant!

Is it very steep to climb up to the circle seats?
There are quite a few stairs, in two or three small flights if I recall correctly. I use a walking stick and was fine with them - provided there was no prize for speed! Stairs are the only option here though as there are no lifts. I would say, without fail, all the staff were keen to help me, be it fetching tickets from the box office for me to save me queueing and offering the shortest route to our front row seats so as to minimise going up and down circle steps. If in doubt, if you have any specific requirements, I would recommend phoning the box office.

They do check bags and they have a storage facility if you can’t take in. We left some shopping with them and collected on the way out

Would someone provide details of what you get if a couple purchases VIP tickets to Book of Mormons. What seats do you get? Is it worth the money? Thanks.

Good day. When they refer to the "circle" is that the balcony. If there are seats/sections that have a better view/more leg room I would appreciate a recommendation. Thanks.

The circle is the balcony and is above the stalls
I am afraid we sat in the stalls and the leg room was good there
