Very busy with large groups of tourists however it is well worth a visit to the market, street entertainment, restaurants and bars also lots of great shops in the surrounding streets. Neals Yard off Neals Street is well worth visiting just to view the incredible multi-coloured facades of the buildings

I pass by the main central market in Covent Garden pretty frequently- partly because it's a good connector to Leicester Square tube station, amongst other places. The location has great connections to other parts of central London. Covent Garden is all about the shopping. It's a great place to visit if you want to find a luxury gift for someone,... More

Wonderful vibrant place with so much going on. Tuttons were so friendly even though their outside tables were full, after waiting a while they managed to squeeze in our family of 6 including 2 year old in high chair and looked after us really well.

After midweek Matinee theatre we fancied a meal & headed to Covent Garden for a browse / wander to then discover a desirable eatery ! ...... The wandering was ok - plenty of hustle & bustle going on everywhere but the browsing was poor with only limited retail interest ; nothing out of the ordinary & certainly aimed @ tourists... More

Shopping is largely overpriced & the market varies, but the street performers make this place special. Come on a Friday or Saturday night to see the best they have to offer. Don't forget to tip the performers!

The market and shops were in good variety and medium size. There was opera singing which a guy went around the audience for donation. I didn't mild it. However not when I just started listening less than 30 seconds. That was a bit rush. The goods that they sold in stalls were a bit boring.
