This, for Londoners, is knows as ‘The Street For Tourists’. You’ll find very few Londoners here as it’s just so crowded. Sometimes you can hardly move. Yes the shops are nice, though they can all be found anywhere in London (other than Selfridges and the...More

We only walked down Oxford street to see the Christmas lights and stop into Selfridges. It was very crowded. There was a small group of people protesting the use of fur in coats, but it added to the overall atmosphere.

If you want a leisurely walk and browse around some shops then don’t come to Oxford Street. All of society is here and will sell you whatever your budget desires. Avoid the ‘Rickshaws’ at night

The street is a classic major city street that has most retail that you would want to visit or see - including John Lewis, Debenhams and Liberty. It also has a good streetscape with a great finish at Marble Arch (although the other end does...More

This sophisticated and sociable slice of Central
London is a shopper’s paradise, offering the latest
fashions, gadgets, and souvenirs. Fitzrovia is
conveniently located between the major retail
thoroughfares of Regent Street to the west and
Tottenham Court Road to the east, with a handful of
well connected Tube stations dotted around the area
for easy transport. This neighbourhood is a favorite
