As someone who didn't know much about Jack the Ripper beforehand I learnt loads about the theories behind the notorious killer while venturing around the back streets of east London.

Booked the tour online and had an amazing guide in Amy. Very knowledgeable and created a great atmosphere. Would totally recommend to anyone interested in this gruesome aspect of London in the 1880s.

Very disappointed with this tour. A lot of the landmarks have now gone, so it was hard to envisage. Thought the ripper-vision was going to help. On your website you advertise it as 5ft depictions, more like 30cm and the pictures were from Google, not actors recreating the scene. Felt I was being 'ripped' off. Would advise people not to... My wife and I recently went on Jack The Ripper Tour with 'Ripper Vision'. I don't usually write reviews but just wanted to say it was a fantastic evening. Our tour guide Jamie, was charming, fun and very informative and led us into the grimy world of Jack The Ripper. Would highly recommend it to everyone!

My friend and I were looking for a London tour that was somewhat out of the ordinary and this fit the bill. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and entertaining. The slide show proving context was really helpful in setting the scene since so many of the sites have been demolished and replaced by modern day buildings. The tour wouldn't have... More

Like Nigel below in terms of value at £12.00 it was a good price but the tour could have been so much better if there hadn't been 32 of us and by the fact we kept on bumping into or being bumped into by other tours. The guide was a mixed bag, he thought he was funny but in many... More

Our guide was very knowledgeable and presented the information very well. The Ripper Vision (projector) and the additional photos the guide had helped tell the story nicely. For the price, a good value and informative tour. The only recommendation is to keep the group size to 20 or so maximum. Our group had well over 30 people--too large to keep... More

Had a lovely evening walking the streets of London where the Ripper did his doings. Great insights to tie up the jist of the ripper Would love to do it again on a Halloween or bonfire night. One improvement would be for the guy to tone the humour down he really didn't need it he was great. he really grasped... More

First thing to say was the tour was not bad value at £12.50 a head. Second thing to say was the tour guide was knowledgeable and imparted some nuggets of interest. However, we left the tour feeling a little short changed. The marketing of the tour portrays recreating the scenes of the crime whilst projecting the scene 'as was' on... More

Ok so I don't like leaving bad reviews but on this occasion I have to - the tour itself was average - there was a lot of pointing to two or three streets away and saying what went on but not actually taking us there. The 'ripper-vision' is nothing but a slide show. And finally our guide Jamie who was... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
