Mick Priestley was excellent in his recounting of the Ripper murders. We loved the tour and bought the book that Mick wrote on the murders as well. It was a rainy night which made the tour all that more creepy...
No need for spooky music or actors; Johnny’s emotional delivery, historical evidence, and witty antics added chills, thrills, and laughs to the entire tour.
Johnny is passionate about the true history and compassionate for the lives of the gruesome murder victims.
Take this tour and...More
Fantastic tour very descriptive. Shout out to Mick a perfect balance between drama and truth. Due to the very hot sunny day we took the tour only limited use of the 'Projector' and had to go 'old school' with photos from a book but that...More
We went on the tour this evening and found Jamie the tour guide to be very entertaining and he definitely knew his stuff and he was clearly passionate about it. The weather wasn't great but this can't be blamed on the tour guide. He did...More
Johnny was extremely knowledgeable about the details surrounding the Jack The Ripper murders. He is clearly extremely passionate about the subject. Unfortunately being that the sun doesn't set until after 9pm we weren't able to use the ripper vision as much as we would have...More
We had Johnny as our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and very entertaining. I'd highly recommend it. The projected images and folder of pictures do help to give you a sense of what life was really like at the time of the murders. Because there...More
Our tour guide was very entertaining. She did a great job. Cost was only £10... do you can’t beat that for a 2 hour walking tour. I didn’t want to do the 230pm show as I thought evening would add to the atmosphere but as...More
I took this tour as a spur of the moment thing on 21st May 2018. The cost is very reasonable considering you get about 2 hours of information and entertainment around the east end of London.
I have a little knowledge of the Whitechapel murders...More
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a
cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
I don't think that should be a problem. When I took the tour we only walked in streets and on sidewalks, nothing too narrow or steep. Some were cobbled streets, but we didn't walk in any steps or stairs. Enjoy the tour!
