Wholesale or retail, a good place for Chinese food

This small supermarket caters for the needs of local Chinese people and more. Presumably it serves restaurants and other businesses. Originally, service, although minimal, is... read more

We chose a set menu for 3 the only good dish was the crispy duck with pancakes everything else was either sitting in a puddle of grease or had hot chilli added. We asked that the lemon chicken had separate sauce but the chicken was very dry and looked like cheap frozen chicken nuggets. I was very disappointed as I... More

This small supermarket caters for the needs of local Chinese people and more. Presumably it serves restaurants and other businesses. Originally, service, although minimal, is quite friendly. The location and access are not the most convenient, although a large car park is on offer. You can find in there, as well as the goods you would expect, a few oddities... More

Went there (again) to look out for curiousities, found a couple of new things and ended up buying lots of red chili and some Oolong tea drinks :) If you are into Asian food you can find everything here, and even just going through looking at for Europeans strange foods is fun! Staff is professional and friendly, would come again!!... More

In the heart of Gerrard Street, that itself is in the heart of Chinatown this would be of potential interest either to shoppers looking for all manner of Chinese food items or for visitors who like to see what to them might be of unusual interest. The place is (not quite) crammed with shelves piled high along narrow aisles but... More

Ok foodies if you are cooking Chinese at home this is the only place to buy your ingredients, huge selection, everything you could possibly want under one roof. Don't expect any help from the staff who all look spaced out and dont speak or want to speak in English, however most things have an English translation and you will soon... More

It is mainly a supermarket selling chinese food however they do a lot of different foods from korea, japan, malaysia, thailand, vietnam etc (east asia). It is a bit of a maze though and a squeeze to get through the aisles. The queues are huge! There is also a restaurant going through a refurbishment on the side. It did close... More

I was amazed at the sheer variety of goods on offer - foods, cookware, tableware, snacks, drinks. I was able to find the hot Sriracha sauce that I've not discovered in any other shop and some interesting bits to add to a stir fry. Wander through and find something fascinating!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
