Having lived in London for over forty five years, how dare I not have visited Lee Valley Park? This visit made in January this year (2017) was with a bird watching group. More than a sanctuary, this area is haven of peace, tranquillity, interest and learning.No need to list here what we spotted - go to their website. Wonderful day.... More

We just discovered Lee Valley Regional Park this summer despite living in Hertfordshire for 32 years and I am so glad we did. Lovely place to spend some time, cannot believe its so near London. Lots to do, walking, kids climbing areas, canal, lakes, Frisbee course.

It's such a pretty park to walk around - plenty to do and lots of space to play. Paths are well marked out.

The Park is vast stretching from The Queen elizabeth Park..though you can navigate to the estuary @ Blackwall..to Hertford.. .The adjacent Railway line to cambridge provide repsite..with busy weekends livend with the occaisionalice-ceam and burger van Plan your journey..popular but thin riverside at broxbourne et al need caution

Toni from Brazil was our amazing instructor, he is very professional and safety conscious but made sure we all had a fantastic experience . Such a great day out, will difinately be back. Thank you Toni and the team .

So much too see and do in this lovely park. The lakes aree speciffically beautiful all year round. There are woods and wild flowers, fishing, boating, whit water rafter, biking and refrshments in various locations. Wild life is in abundance.

The lee Valley has to be one of the most understated 'Park' in the UK. It's the great outdoors made easy. Great for exploring with or without kids/dogs/friends/etc there's even proper paths for those who don't like walking on anything else! Easily accessible to all, Many of the carparks are free. If you like stale food and uncontrollable Staff outings / corporate days then this is the place for you! We have visited this site a few times over the years but just recently, the standards of Lee Valley White Water Centre have fallen tremendously. Tight uncomfortable wet suits, soon forgotten once in the water and powering down the Olympic slalom course, great fun. Thanks Gem from Ben Simon & Martin.
