Just love this park ! We did around 8km and like many walks before we always find something new or interesting and after we popped to great Windmill Tearoom cafe for some soup or hot drinks. Highly recommend this place for everyone !

We love this common, it has everything you could ask for. Peggy can run, leap, chase, swim and even play hide & seek to her hearts content. Parking is ok if not at the night of Summer and there is a good cafe to get breakfast or lunch after a bracing walk.

I live very close to Wimbledon Common and I love it. I often go running through the wooded areas and watching the area where change with the seasons brings new surprises each year. There is a huge array of wildlife from the terrapin invaders in the pond, long-faced horses, tufted common ducks, mute swans that float, scheming grey squirrels, and... More

I love the Wimbledon Common. You can have a lovely stroll and take in some fresh air. There is also a park for kids to play in!

This is the perfect place to take your family for a day out and for cycling as there are designated cycling routes. My favourite place in London especially in the summer time.

Go there to find out what an unspoilt London would have looked like! Acres of woodland and scrub - walkers and horses welcome. You feel you are no where near the centre of london. Smattering of lovely pubs near by mean you can get a pint too!

It's not quite in the city, but it's close enough! A great place to be in the great outdoors. It feels like you are in the countryside, but you are only a few miles from London. Lots of places to explore. I commonly get lost which is actually quite nice. A top place to walk with the dog or the... More

An awesome place to visit with the family. Beautiful wood to walk through with lots of space for the kids to run around and explore.

Free car parking makes a novel change these days. You might have to drive around the car park for 10 minutes as a result to find a space but well worth it. The car park might be packed but the common and woods are anything but. Kids had great fun exploring, climbing trees and building dens. A great place.

And better still, the parking is free! Such a change in this day and age. The cafe was full of dog walkers on a Monday lunchtime, and we grabbed some good cuppas before going for a walk in the beautiful surroundings. The cafe food is a bit transport-cafe like, so we gave it a miss and headed into the village... More
