We stopped here for coffee and cake after visiting 2 Willow Road. It was lovely sitting outside with colourful plants and the wisteria-covered House. The male and female waiters were not friendly however. We entered the house (free) and especially enjoyed the Hampstead exhibition - history of the Hampstead area going back to B.C. with flint tools etc plus photos... More

We attended my nieces wedding here today 25th march, what a lovely place. We had lunch at the cafe first which was very nice then attended the wedding at 2.30. After the ceremony the photos were taken in the small court yard and it was such a beautiful day. Didn't get to have a good look around but from what... More

This is a beautiful old house lovingly maintained. A wealth of original features with a real homely feel. Informed and informative volunteers and some really interesting displays in the galleries. The space is licensed for weddings too - the events manager saw me leafing through the wedding brochure and very kindly offered me more information and talked me through the... More

The staff were quite horrible and petty with us, it was not a very nice experience. We visited in the hope of making a large booking for a special event, but were left upset by the unfriendly reception that we received.

Burger House is a pretty cool place to visit especially when they have some cool exhibitions going on. They have very friendly staff and their facilities are very clean!

I stopped off here when I was in the area, the house is quite nice, there's a little museum upstairs which is quite interesting and a room downstairs with some beautiful art on display, all in all not that much to see so I wouldn't recommend a special trip but definitely worth a stop off in your area. The Cafe... More

I was at Burgh House for a wedding this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed by the setting and the property itself. They did an excellent job of hosting the event and would happily recommend it to anyone.

This is the old, steep streets of Hampstead, and is a delightful enclave, a museum-cum community centre-cum-cafe. The displays are limited but excellent. Periodic exhibitions; when we went, featuring the c19 watercolourist Helen Allingham. One of London's hidden gems, like, eg the Vestry House at Walthamstow. Thoroughly recoomended.

We recently attended a wedding here, and it's certainly a beautiful venue. It's charming. We had a quick bite before in the cafe and sat outside and it really is a lovely spot. Service was friendly and efficient. We only had a bacon sandwich and a couple of soft drinks, but was all nice enough, even though the sandwich was... More
