This small square is located next to St. Paul's Cathedral. It is also the location of the London Stock Exchange and a couple of investment banks. The main monument here is the 75 feet (23 metre) tall Paternoster Square Column.

A beautifully designed modern square that is built to compliment St Paul's Cathedral. Buildings are tastefully designed and respect the sight lines of the cathedral.

I was here in August last year when the place was buzzing. This morning at 9 am it was a far more sedate environment. We had finished visiting St. Paul's Cathedral and walked around Paternoster Square before heading off to the Underground Station and Stratford.

A nice open Piazza surrounded by architectural nice touches, lots of open spaces and thronged with people. Why only 3*? The public lavatories cost 50p, no wonder they were empty!!

We visited whilst going to dinner at Paternoster's Chophouse. A delightful little spot. So clean and interesting, worth a visit.
