Jason's Trip is the original Regent's Canal tour and has been operating since 1951. Jason is an authentic 100+ year-old canal boat which was originally used as a cargo-vessel on the canals before being fitted with a diesel engine and converted to passenger-carrying duties. The tour runs between Little Venice and Camden lock. It takes about forty-five minutes. On the trip from Little Venice up to Camden there is a live commentary from our trained guides who will tell you all about the canal's history from 1800 to the present day. There is no commentary on the Camden to Little Venice trips.

We really enjoyed this - even if expensive. £10 adult and £9 for a child, ow! And it was very cold chugging along in the boat. Nevertheless - there was good commentary on all you can see and it really is like another place, not...More

We all agree that the experience is worthwhile and interesting. Go early, as the Little Venice departure is not well posted, and there are a number of boats, as well as the return at Camden, where the area spills over the edges of the locks...More

Had a lovely boat trip on the canal today from Little Venice to Camden Market. The rain did not spoil the trip as we were under cover and warm blankets were offered just in case we felt a chill. It was a real little gem,...More

Camden Market is a MUST for shoppers. Getting there by Jason's was so relaxing & easy. One caveat...they ONLY take cash. Also, when you exit the Tube look across the street & a sign is posted with arrow to Little Venice. However, you must stay...More

We loved it. Jason is just perfect! First time for all my party: I was with my 12-year-old daughter and a British friend who had never been to Little Venice. Boat trip was excellent, another angle on things, real live comments which makes the whole...More

Perfect way to start a 3-day visit. Explore the canals before the streets. 4-year old daughter excited to see duck, terns, canal boats as homes and gardens, cyclists and strollers on towpath, animals at zoo, all from a boat with exceptional commentary.

It was really nice learning about narrow boats, how they were moved along the canal back in the days as well as how the purpose of the canal has changed overtime. The lady doing the commentary did a very good job of it. We also...More

Our last stay in London had seen us take Jason's canal boat from Little Venice to Camden Lock. It had been a thoroughly enjoyable and therefore when visiting the city again, we decided to repeat the journey. After having walked from Paddington to Little Venice,...More

A very nice and interesting trip. The boat drives at slow speed through a beautiful and rural landscape in the heart of London. No traffic or noise. The female guide was very skilled. She was engaged, brought interesting information along the way and not least...More

We booked the tour and used our London passes. We had coffee in the shop that is a canal boat before we boarded Jason's. The ride is quiet and the narration entertaining. It's different from anything we've done in London before. Go early if you...More
