A different perspective

I like taking the walk from the Paddington station towards Little Venice, along the canal through this lovely area. It gives a bit different perspective of the city...

Looking for something to do that is free, relaxing and different? Just outside of Paddington station, take a walk along the canal to see houseboats, lovely buildings & homes, and bridges. There are sections along the canal with benches to sit & enjoy the view. Do as much or as little as you like.

Walking alongside the river at the Paddington Waterside was a pretty sight, quiet and the folk on the Houseboats were accommodating in greeting you and allowing you to take photos. Some houseboats were specifically decorated enticing you to comment on and take photos of. We an excellent stroll the next morning after a long flight

We were staying in a Paddington hotel and this provided us with the opportunity to become quite familiar with the Paddington area. Early one evening, we took a pleasant stroll along the Paddington Waterside. To access the area, we just needed to walk through Paddington Railway Station and out through the side entrance, adjacent to the taxi rank and we... More

Try to visit outside of weekday rush hours, when others are heading to and from work, and instead find a quieter time to meander along the canal, study the industrial architecture, watch the wildlife, admire the views and generally chill out while getting some gentle exercise. If time and energy permits, you can really go quite a long way in... More

Lovely walk from Paddington to little Venice. Loved seeing the canal boats but cyclists going far to fast with no regard for anyone did take the edge off a tad

Me and my boyfriend walked by this place to our way to Little Venice. It is a really quiet place to relax, the little bridge is cute und the canel ist beautiful to walk by plus its refreshingly cool in the summer.

We discovered this place when following the "Paddington Trail" of decorated Paddington Bears. It is right next to Paddington station but you wouldn't know it and connects through to Little Venice. We really enjoyed walking along both sides of the canal here.

For us we walked from Little Venice along the canal to the Paddington Complex where you can get a bite to eat or finish your walk and hail a taxi. Im sure this area would have been more enjoyable in summer rather than New Years Day when we went.
