Great atmosphere but in need of modernisation

Came here for the palace 3 Southampton 0 game. I am a palace supporter so maybe I'm a bit biased. I came to this game as it has been 50 years since I saw my first game here in... read more

Went to watch the visit of my team, Manchester United playing against Crystal Palace. Atmosphere round the ground was friendly without the aggression sometimes found for visiting fans. Strong recommendation, avoid the back row of the main stand: absolutely no leg room. If you are over 5 feet tall, you will struggle to sit. Thankfully stewards relocated us nearer the... More

Came here for the palace 3 Southampton 0 game. I am a palace supporter so maybe I'm a bit biased. I came to this game as it has been 50 years since I saw my first game here in 1966. I am a member so I was able to choose my seat on the end of an aisle. This is... More

Easy to get to from train station connecting to Croydon. Nice to see Chelsea win :) Serive at half time is a bit slow could do with more staff to serve but otherwise a great experience...

Traditional older ground but good atmosphere inside. 10 mins walk from Norwood Junction station with overground services so access to central london.

Selhurst Park has a great atmosphere. The stadium is a bit old school which makes is a different experience compared to modern grounds. Worth a visit.

This is a wonderful, old-fashioned football stadium full of charm and a wonderful, passionate atmosphere. Not for the plastic football tourist, but rather a Mecca for the football afficianado. If you love your football, you'll adore Selhurst Park.

The stadium itself is old and there are pillars that may occlude the pitch now and then but the singing of the fans and the atmosphere are unbeatable. My best football experience ever. It is also feels very safe. No hooligans and no pushing. It's a 10 minute work from Selhurst station and from there 25 minutes to Victoria

Palace fans create the best atmosphere, if you are sitting anywhere near the finatics you will have a great time. Yes, the stadium may not be at modern as other clubs but who cares!? The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is friendly and helpful so what if the toilets are a bit ropey. Its a football match your coming to watch... More

Probably the best atmosphere in English football. Not the most entertaining team in the league but never a dull moment . Ground and team improving year on year. A season ticket will be a must soon if you want to attend this great old ramshackle stadium with a friendly welcome ( except if you support Brighton ). South London's number... More

I visited for a Crystal Palace match and the atmosphere was scintillating. Absolutely loved it, a proper old school football ground. Very close to Gatwick Airport and easy to get to and from central London by train. Some nice pubs around the ground. Food and drink available inside is decent enough. I was there years ago in 1998 when Wimbledon... More
