The theater is grand yet intimate with a historic vibe. Since the place is small, there aren't any bad seats, but I still recommend the floor seats or orchestra. I recommend getting there early to enjoy the bar and lounge area they had before seating. The actual play was moving and there were many touching moments where the actors truly... More

Great show, great songs and great voices, we used to love the film, but you cannot compare with the theater experience at all. This musical has been performing in London for more than 20 years and last Saturday was totally full, that says much about the quality of the story and the importance of this show for the musical scene.

First time seeing this show and I was totally blown away. The production is amazing, the cast (mostly) very talented. Well produced and delivered. The venue itself is pure London West End - old but classy. One bonus that makes it really stand out from other shows are the staff. Every single one was wonderfully friendly, couldn't do enough for... More

Words cannot convey how good this show is. Totally enjoyed our evening. Everything was perfect, from collecting our pre-ordered tickets to getting pre drinks and onto our seats. We were in dress circle row H and had a decent enough view. However this show is so good you would get a decent evening even if you closed your eyes throughout... More

I have seen Les Mis in New York and couldn't miss the chance of treating my wife on our last visit to London. Its where the show began so it just felt right. And it was a blast! You will laugh, you will cry and fall in love with it all over again. The music is extraordinary and the performances... More

This was my 2nd time watching Les Mis. The first, which I thought was arguably better, was 6 months ago in another country. This cast performed brilliantly, especially Javert! But the stage was not as big or sophisticated as the one I saw previously. Nevertheless, the simplicity of a rotating platform that introduces a new scene with each half-turn did... More

I'm going to be hated by many but here goes. The singing is superb. The story is long and the seats get uncomfortable. Towards the end I heard someone behind me say, 'I'm bored now.' Without doubt there are highlights but I did feel like I had had enough. I did hum the tunes after and the singing is amazing.... More

What a show. Absolutely brilliant. If you are a lover of stage musicals or have seen the film and enjoyed it, this is a must. I got through a packet of tissues! Everything about this show is brilliant. Booking to go again, I'm hooked.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
