went on the docklands light railway after the cables cars a very quirky little thing with no driver connects up to tube lines and the canary wharf always wanted to go on it and glad i did

Yep, no drivers, been like that since day 1 in the 80s. Especially nice to travel 30 feet above road height in amongst the tall buildings of Canary Wharf. frequent service and good interconnectivity of the different lines.

We had planned to head down to Greenwich on the river taxi but the weather was pretty terrible. So we made our way to Bank and hopped on the DLR. Driverless clean and efficient, a great resource.

The dlr may take a little longer than alternative routes but it's reliable, clean & a different clientele. Considering the operators do a lot of multi tasking in general the staff seem very happy and polite. Sometimes you'll experience an entertaining character who'll lighten up...More
