Neal Street is the busy main thoroughfare running from Shaftsbury Avenue to Long Acre, and is predominantly occupied by shops and restaurants. Beware of traders standing outside their premises offering “free” gifts - this is a ploy to entice you into the shop for the...More

Neal Street used to be full of quirky shops and was one of the eclectic streets for shopping in London. It is still busy with tourists and youngsters but the old charm has left the street as had the old shops.

Charming and quirky with a little something for everyone: cafes, restaurants. boutiques. Colourful architecture and well worth the stroll on the way to Covent Garden.

Sadly, what used to be an interesting street full of charm and atmosphere with its independent shops and pleasant restaurants, became just another overcrowded, ordinary street like many others in the city.

Neal street is a small busy street running between Covent Garden, Long Acre & the Seven Dials area. Whilst at one time it was full of independent shops it now has many high st branded shops. Worth a wonder around though.
