Peace Pagoda had event happening. As did the central part. Definitely a good place for tourists. There's a fountain where people can get "refreshed". It's a nice and big area.

Battersea Park is a less formal but lovely London Park. Combine with a boat trip on the lake, or a walk next to the Thames; lots of sporting facilities and activities for kids (zoo, playground, Go Ape). A great spot for an outing.
