1. They couldn't find my tickets with either my booking reference or name. They found it via my name. 2. Ordering a hot dog and they asked what option I wanted. I asked what options they had and she told me to look at the board at the other end. 3. They wanted me to wait 20 mins for a... More

If I hadn't pre booked I don't think I would have chosen to step inside here. Wouldn't choose to go here to see an "ordinary cinema film release" It is chaotic when you walk in there. Really not clear where you should be going or to who you should show your tickets too. Very messy with litter & debris in... More

After several years since I had been to the cinema the wife and I booked two tickets for the afternoon screening of Bridgette Jones Baby at Scunthorpe. The guy at the ticket desk was chatty, friendly and engaging so we are off to a good start. The film was showing on screen 2 and I was well impressed with the... More

VUE Cinemas - they manage to turn what would otherwise be a wonderful day out with the family to the movies, into a stressful, unenjoyable experience. First off, queues to get a ticket at the Acton Park Royal Cinema are so long, you will generally miss the first part of your film - unless you manage to arrive a good... More

I was double charged by Vue due to tech problems on their site. I contacted the cinema, customer service, the cinema again and customer service once again. I have been following up during a whole week and nothing has happened. They also have a very expensive tfn number so be ready for a hefty phone bill. Furthermore, their cinemas tend... More

Went to the Stains branch with a Vue nector point voucher that included 2 free tickets to see BFG at 16:30 today. However, was informed by Craig that the code wasn't working but didn't really explain why and made no effort to get the manager to deal with the situation. After travelling 30 minutes to get to Stains, we ended... More

Arrived at the Vue Stratford 1 hour late for the start of film after awful car journey. Staff at the Vue were immediately so understanding they swopped our tickets for another film. My stress gone, kids very happy, popcorn in hand we enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the Vue cinema. Thank you. Will be back.

STAFF UNORGANISED - ordering and payment for customers are slow - leading to longer waiting time and most likely to miss beginnings of films (even if there are 20 minutes adverts). majority of staff do not have much experience of working with the technological system - meaning they need guidance from another member of staff. ONLINE BOOKING IS A WASTE... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
