Our concierge at the Goring recommended this place when we asked for a local neighborhood English put. Well, what a delight. Lots of local foods and friendly staff. Nothing fancy just a warm and charming place for lunch. It's a bit tricky to find but...More

I had planned months in advance to have a walking Ghost Tour from our hotel end at the Grenadier Pub. When planning this date, I spoke with Tony, the manager from the Pub, and it was a very pleasant conversation. Tony said that since we...More

This quaint little pub tucked away down a small side street is well worth a visit! The food is fantastic, especially for pub-fare. Service was attentive and cheerful, the decor is cute and cozy. Overall great place! Definitely would recommend making a reservation for dinner...More

I had lunch with friends and our young children. The food was OK but the service was poor. The waitress was rude. One order was not given to the kitchen and when a wrong side was served, the fact it was wrong was questioned rather...More

My fiancee and I visited this pub for some good british atmosphere and some great tasting food. We had the beef wellington and the fish and chip. It was amazing to say the least! The beef wellington was so savory, and it was cooked straight...More

Not too far from Buckingham Palace up a side street containing some pretty mews houses. It's a really quaint pub, with good, basic pub food. A nice range of beers and a friendly guvnor. Apparently it's been frequented by the Duke of Cambridge and Madonna...More

It's a little difficult to find but worth the time. Built in the 1700s, full of history and charm. Try the fish and chips. Excellent food, very reasonably priced. I understand it can get very crowded in the evenings.

Maybe my favorite pub out of 10 or so that we visited during our trip to London. It's tucked away down a side road but it's worth finding. The dollar bills on the ceiling seemed a bit tacky, but once you learn the history of...More

It's not easy to find but it's totally worth looking for it! It's the one bar I would go to in London if given the choice. It's so cozy you'll feel like you took a trip 100 years back into history. Food is fantastic!

Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic
residences in London, sophisticated and upscale
Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine
dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll
worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a
leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque
and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and
the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw

I visited the Grenadier several times in the early eighties and they were famous for their Bloody Mary's and they refused to give customers the recipe for them! Do they still pride themselves on very special Bloody Mary's? Bill

Well, I didn't taste it, so I would say to drop by and try again perhaps ;)

Am I right in thinking that the Grenadier was FAMOUS for it`s "steak and kidney steamed suet pudding"? I seem to remember that I had great pleasure in partaking of this classic dish here some forty or so years ago! Please tell me that I am right AND that you still do it. If not then you SHOULD do so. I shall see you all soon. That would be REAL ENGLAND. REXDH.
