This iconic venue hosts some of Queer Londons best events. Fridays offer changing nights. Duckie on a Saturday hosts a range of performance artists that are always wildly creative. Sunday afternoon see's the RVT hosts its world famous drag acts. The D E Experience is not to be missed. Wonderful staff. A fun crowd. A great place.

I was here for a caberet show on Wednesday which could not be faulted, a great variety of acts and I thoroughly enjoyed that, however the layout of the building is perhaps not the best as the stage was blocked by several pillars in front which really blocked the view of the stage. Friendly staff, typical London prices, toilets clean... More

Such a shame that this place has gone downhill. Has always been a really fun night out and everyone just there to have a good time. Unfortunately the door staff and managers have no interest in charging the correct amount for entry. Ignored what was being advertised on the website for that night and were charging what they liked. Also... More

Visited on a Monday evening for bingo. The whole place is very, very dated. A real spit and sawdust venue. The strong smell of damp is the striking thing you'll notice when you arrive. It's been at least 10 years since I last came here and it honestly hasn't changed in the slightest.

This is probably one of the best gay venues in London, if not the best. Their parties are epic and they have tons of different events going on. Duckie on Saturday nights is epic and you won't regret your visit as you will be partying with a great crowd and the tunes are excellent.

Very disappointed. Staying in London so travelled to spend the night. Arrived just before 9. Told it opened at 9. Doors eventually opened at 9:10 after about 20 had already left. Then was informed there was an £8 door entry. It seemed people were being different prices. I refused to by £8 for entry to a bar at 9 at... More

For such a renowned venue it's great to see smaller events such as screening of classic comedy 'Nighty Night' when I was here last. Really lovely bar staff, great compare, such a lovely place. Always enjoy my time at the tavern!

Thank Michael J
