A very pleasant day out to Eltham Palace and gardens. The 30s art deco house was a fascinating insight into a past 'decadent' way of life and the grounds were beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful

I regularly visit tourist places on my own, as I did today. Eltham was a 20 min drive from the heart of the East End so easily accessible. Train station is about half a mile away - so a short walk if you do not...More
