Great fruit/veg. A big favourite is the crumble stall and the folks that make sausages and burgers there on the spot. A great way to spend the afternoon shopping for the next few days lunch and dinner. Regional/local items - meat, cheeses, mushrooms, fruit and veg!

We visited the Marylebone Farmer's market to buy some grocery because we were in the centre of London. I think that the prices were higher than the Croydon Farmer's market near whitgift Center where we usually do our grocery shopping but that's probably expected. You can find everything you need plus some prepared vegan wraps which we tried and were... More

Brilliant little food market tucked away behind Marylebone high street. Fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, cheeses a total delight. It's near the famous butcher Ginger Pig and the cheese shop is outstanding well worth a visit. A real little gem.

Small open air Sunday market in Marylebone located behind Waitrose and open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. High quality fresh produce is sold including meat, fish, seafood, good ready prepared meals, flowers, plants, cheese, fruit, vegetables, bread and cakes etc. The stall holders are friendly and delighted to talk about their produce. If you are interested in good food... More

Well this was fun, not an overwhelming market at exorbitant prices, just a great range of products. We felt compelled to start with coffee and a bacon roll! Most stall holders were keen that you tried the food and drink before purchase, and were very to talk about their produce and were justifiably proud of it. An Aberdeen Angus burger,... More

I went to the Farmer's Market behind Waitrose in Marylebone recently and found that it had reduced in size - but not in quality. This is a relatively small market with moderate prices but the food is very fresh and the stall holders always cheerful and helpful. This is a little gem in Central London - and the Ginger Pig... This small farmers' market in the car park behind the high street smelt amazing. The food on display looked like it was of very high quality and several stalls had long queues. There was a clear emphasis on fresh seasonal produce. If you live nearby then you take advantage of the ready meals that were on display but otherwise there... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
