We had a very knowledgeable guide and was taken round in a group of 3 people, they cannot take many more as the windmill is too small. You need to be able to climb up steep steps. Do not go if you are not interested...More

The place is small, like a little park, but is organised and lovely. I spent my morning there in a sunny day and I loved. There don't have to much to see, but is a different place in Brixton.

Forgive me for actually having lived around the corner from this gem and not visited for years, after all who would expect to find a windmill right on Brixton Hill. I passed the sign for years and never really contemplated how close it is, just...More

This is something I didn't expect to come across in London. Although this was a good tour, staff were slightly arrogant.

Amsterdam is not the only place with windmills. They locals and very proud to talk about the historic value of the the windmill. If you're lucky, you might get to see it in use!

We went there in a morning walk around the area we were staying. In a small park stood this "little" gem (much taller than us though). We then went for a walk in the nearby Brockwell Park too.

WOW! We booked a tour of the Brixton Windmill and my 6 year old son was completely amazed and loved it. The lady that did the tour was so informative and made the whole story come to life. You must come and see for yourself....More

Not sure what their website says but run by volunteers so weekend late morning / afternoons are best and worth booking if there are a lot of you. Good cake !!
