We prebooked the view including the champagne and arrived ready for our 3pm slot. There are no clear signs telling you want to do or where to go and people were busy asking the security guard of you still need to queue outside if you...More

As a Londoner, I will give you a tip. The ticket to go up and check out the view is beyond expensive and you don't really need to pay. All you have to do is go up to the 32nd floor to the Aqua Shard...More

We were bought a voucher for this experience. Me and my partner enjoyed looking out across London and it was made even better by it being such a clear day. There plenty of photo opportunities (personal and professional). We enjoyed a glass of champagne whilst...More

We visited the Shard using a London Pass. At 30 pounds, the entry fee is pretty steep, and I wouldn't have visited if we had to pay. Having visited, I still don't believe it is worth the high entry fee. The view is great, but...More

We arrived in plenty of time for sunset and were greeted by one of the most amiable men I have ever met in a customer service role. All of the staff were wonderful. Two high-speed lifts brought us to the 68th floor, we walked up...More

Even if you want a drink at the top, just put your name at the reception at the bottom and then they will reserve you a table. Get a window seat if possible. The service and views are outstanding.

We had pre booked tickets - did not spend much time queuing - very organised and kept the crowds moving. Lifts were an experience of their own!!! Time at the top was not rushed or crowded - could spend as long or as little time...More

If you want to skip one of the more pricier things to do, this could be it. Very nice view but if you are a family of four on a budget, don’t.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some

foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
