I would give 5 stars but there is no coffee shop. I was directed to a brilliant coffee shop over the road by the staff (the wonderfully named F*coffee) so no harm done. Saw the excellent Anselm Keifer a few months ago which needed a...More

The gallery is so minimal that I just didn't get it. I didn't understand the exhibitions at all. And it was a long way of the beaten path for such disappointment. It's not you, it's me!

These 6ft x 6ft sheets of glass look fragile and one wonders how well they're held together ..... I asked the staff and they weren't sure, except to say don't touch! But walk around them and view the reflections and sense of mirror images and...More

White. Cube. Check. Gallery. Sort of. This place is nearly a stereotype of artistic pretension: So stark it's almost blinding. So cold and diffident it's close to glacial. Still... A small little gallery set in a great street, showing an array of great artwork all set in a huge white canvas!

My first visit. Excellent exibitions and installations. Intimate space and a really calm atmosphere. Front of house staff were lovely. I think I bored the young man who was showing me the photos as he was yawning openly!!!!

Quietly doing its own thing for 6 years Jay Jopling's White Cube in Bermondsay continues to show museum quality art on a massive scale. Off the beaten track but worth popping in a few times a year just to see what is on. Good book...More

The gallery has a series of beautiful rooms with space to display large scale works of art plus space to breath and viewing from a distance. The shows we saw (Ibrahim Mahama & Josiah McElheny) while very different were excellent.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some

browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
