Fantastic treatment...but little things let it down

Visited the spa this past Saturday. Visited mainly because of location. I will start with the good...Me and two friends visited and had the Elemis Couture Touch treatment. Lisa... read more

Impeccable spa experience. Fitted in at short notice having been let down by my usual salon at home prior to a big event I travelled to London to attend. Yolanda was really superb. Immaculate attention to detail and went above and beyond to make my treatments really special. Can't recommend highly enough! I didn't use any of the other spa... More

This was our first night away from home together since our baby was born. We both have very hectic lives and very little time for ourselves. This was supposed to be a nice experience to make us relax before dinner in Bernes Tavern(dinner was exceptional). Upon arrival we saw the whole hallway of the spa filled with baby prams, which... A friend got me, as a birthday present, a Time out for two voucher, which gave me (and a plus 1) access to the spa/fitness facilities. I checked the website and it looked very nice and like I'd get some relaxing time with my partner. Once we got there (Thursday around 5pm) there was some kind of misunderstanding, because even... I got a voucher for a free massage, so I gave Mandara spa a go. My therapist Lottie was great, did a great job with my massage & mani. What let the place down was the cleanliness of the changing room. I really wanted to use the pool, but the filthy changing room & wash facilities put me right off!... More

For her birthday, my daughter received a spa day package for two, which included an Elemis modern facial for each of us (1 hour), the use of gown and slippers and use of the gym and pool facilities for up to 2 hours before. My daughter contacted the spa the day before our visit and was told that we could... More

Visited the spa this past Saturday. Visited mainly because of location. I will start with the good...Me and two friends visited and had the Elemis Couture Touch treatment. Lisa was fantastic and it was such a lovely relaxing treatment...just what we needed. The relaxation area for the Spa is nice also to bring yourself back down to earth with small... More

We had a couples massage here today and had a lovely relaxing experience. We were shown through to a lounge area once we were changed where we completed the paperwork. Ginger tea was provided and there was also a bowl of fruit and water to help yourself to. The couples massage room was comfortable and we both found our Balinese... More

After a heavy but great night out we decided to book a spa day, rather then waste it nursing a hangover at home. I was a little worried when I placed my booking that I didn't actually get a booking. The lady seemed ever so nice on the phone, but I seem to have taken charge of the call. I... More

Scheduled a massage quite late (the morning of the day) and the staff was very accommodating. Even if they could not fit my initial request for a hot stone massage the lady on the phone made room for a deep tissue, muscle relaxing massage that same afternoon. Hotel was a bit of a maze, but staff was again helpful in... More

I was worried by some of the recent reviews, which I saw after I booked a spa package via an offer website for a friend and I, but my fears were unfounded! We went on a Sunday afternoon. We used the facilities for nearly three hours before our treatments and throughout the whole time were pretty much the only people... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
