We had a cheese and wine tasting session booked as a present. Sue was able to accommodate us earlier than our original booking which was brilliant. Both sue’s knowledge of the selection of cheeses and the waiter’s knowledge of wines was impressive! They paired the selections perfectly. Will definitely return as the scotch eggs and fondue looked amazing

Are we post Covid or are we in the midst of Covid? The lack of people in the 'Square Mile' would suggest that there are plenty of City types enjoying the break. Well, it's their loss. Cheese at Leadenhall is back and it's as if nothing has changed. An oasis in an otherwise largely deserted market has got the delicious menu up and running again, the wines are all in place and there doesn't appear to be any lack of cheese. My lunch last week was simple but well executed. The wine guy, I think Julian, suggested a fabulous lunchtime red and the food arrived with a lovely smile. What's not to like? Having not been allowed out for three months, here is an opportunity to meet up with friends and 'waste' a fabulous afternoon with great food and wine and delightful service. (Can someone book me a table for next week?)

Went here with a friend of over 50 years, we had the Port and Cheese Tasting option. The restaurant is lovely, the staff very knowledgable and so friendly and the cheese was of the highest quality with the Port exceptional. The owner Sue is an amazing lady, she is the Cheesemonger and it is a judge in world wide competitions for cheese! We have such amazing people in our great city!!!! Two of the Blue cheeses we had were, in their time, world champions - how good is that.

An excellent afternoon for four. Approx 1 hour on a short walk with a very knowledgeable guide. Some good info / history of the City, and linking to various cheese types. We sampled 6 cheeses during the walk, listened to two 'terrible' jokes... and had a 'sporting event' ! Good fun all round. Then we returned to Cheese at Leadenhall for a 4 cheese, 4 wine tasting. Excellent... not the usual - expected choices, some unusual and interesting choices. Definitely a great experience - thoroughly recommended.
